Tom was a character played by David Gail on Beverly Hills, 90210, the first series of the Beverly Hills, 90210 continuity. He appeared in the season 1 episode A Fling in Palm Springs.
Tom first appears after Brenda Walsh gets lost in Palm Springs and is without a place to stay. He overhears her griping about having nowhere to stay and offers a spare room at his place for her to stay until she finds her friends. She reluctantly accepts, but just for help with a place to stay. Tom finds her a broom closet to sleep in overnight and leaves her his name and number if she needs him.
David Gail later played Stuart Carson, a love interest for Brenda, in Season 4.
