Rene was the sister of Noah Hunter and illegitimate daughter of Daniel Hunter. She was a waitress at the Rose City Diner. Noah found, while handling his father's estate, that Daniel had a second life. For weeks, Noah visited her without revealing his true identity, but was discovered sitting in the diner one day by Donna Martin. Noah was reluctant to meet Rene, but eventually Donna worked it out so Rene came to Noah. They shared a friendly meeting before Rene followed through on some plans to move to Florida.
