Dylan and Charlie continue to lobby the script to Tom Rose, who gets suspicious about Dylan's motives. Brandon lashes out at Kelly, who's concerned about him, and continues being drawn closer to Valerie. Steve finally meets his mystery woman, but things take a different turn. Donna gets in an accident that leads her down a destructive path.

  • Brandon is arrested for possession while driving Valerie's car. He spends the night in jail, flushes Valerie's dope at the hotel and drops his almost-fling with her
  • Steve tells Brandon what happened with Elle and they have a severely transphobic conversation about it
  • Kelly tells Brandon she didn't feel like it was a choice between him and Dylan, more of a contest between the two of them with her somehow caught in the middle
    • She tries to reunite with Brandon again, but he rejects her
  • Tom Rose reveals to Dylan that he knows who killed his father, and that the FBI have known all along, too
  • Donna tells Valerie she knows something happened between her and Ray, but Donna doesn't tell anyone else that Ray pushed her down the stairs
  • Dylan finds Brandon at the bus station and they ride back to L.A. together
  • Dylan returns home ready to avenge his father
  • The house has been sold when Brandon gets home. When Val returns he kisses her and they start making out
  • When Steve has his first encounter with Elle at the gas station, the gas prices behind him read $1.29 (regular unleaded), $1.39 (super unleaded), and $1.49 (premium unleaded)
