Matt Durning, played by Daniel Cosgrove, is a character introduced in the first series of the Beverly Hills, 90210 continuity.

Matt is a strait-laced lawyer who first appeared in the ninth season, during which he became gradually close to Donna Martin, Kelly Taylor, and the rest of their friends. He is a generally serious character, but sometimes prone to joke with the others. Matt and Kelly eventually began dating, though their relationship was complicated by the return of Dylan McKay, one of Kelly's ex-boyfriends.

Though Kelly initially accepted Matt's marriage proposal, she later ended their relationship and apologized for hurting him, admitting that she still had feelings for Dylan. Matt concluded the series on good terms with Kelly, saying goodbye and wishing her well.
