Dottie was the temporary secretary of Jim Walsh. Jim stated that she was the best secretary he had had since they moved to California. Dottie first stopped by to deliver some papers to Jim, infuriating Cindy Walsh by gushing over Jim as a boss, saying she admired and respected him. She later told Jim the agency was going to ask if he wanted to hire her full-time and Jim began to fantasize about her in a sexual manner, but quickly snapped out of it.
