Al Brown is a character in Season 2 of Beverly Hills, 90210. He is portrayed by Parley Baer.
Story[]
Al is the biological grandfather of Steve Sanders and the father of the late Karen Brown. When Steve calls his diner, Al quickly hangs up on Steve without explanation. Because of this, Steve goes to the diner and announces himself as Karen's son. Al softens and explains to Steve who he is and that, sadly, Steve's biological mother passed away. Al takes Steve with him to visit Karen's grave. Steve asked him to keep in touch and he agreed.
