Template:Infobox character Daniel Hunter was the father of Noah Hunter. He was also the owner and C.E.O. of Hunter Oil & Chemical, which was a Fortune 500 company. Daniel was a strict father and often abrasive to his children.
In season 9, however, Daniel lost all of the company's money. After spending a day with Noah reminiscing about the past, Daniel shot himself after picking a final fight with Noah. Noah found his father shortly after he had committed suicide.
While gathering information about Daniel for his obituary, Brandon Walsh learned from Blythe Hunter that Daniel wanted to be an artist, but gave it up to run the oil company and suffered a lifetime of numbness because of his failure to follow his passion.
